National Pet Health Week: Essay and Poster Contest

In recognitional of National Pet Health week, May 4-10, 2008, AVC is sponsoring a poster and essay contest for kids Kindergarten through 12th grade. This year the theme is "Pets Make the Difference." Be sure to have your submissions in to the clinic no later than May 6th, 6pm for your chance to win the prize!

AVC is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Kerry Weisz to our team. Dr. Weisz is a 2006 Oklahoma graduate. She just finished a 1 year internship in Internal medicine at Ettinger's Hospital in California. Let's welcome her to Austin and our practice.

New Dental Vaccine

Introducing the Porphyromonas Bacterin (Denticanis-Gulae-Salivosa)

The Porphyromas vaccine aids in the prevention of canine periodontitis as demonstrated by a reduction in bone changes. Periodontitis, the most common bacterial infection in dogs, can lead to long-term effects such as tooth loss if left untreated. Digital Radiography

In May of 2007, AVC expanded our digital radiography service to include dental x-rays, using our new AFP Image-Vet 70 ACP. We love it!
