Poster and Essay Contest Rules
Kindergarten-5th Grade Contestants
Submit a poster no larger than 22" x 14" telling us why you love your pets.
You can include pictures, stories, and photos. Please include your name,
grade level, and phone number on your poster. Deadline for submission is
Tuesday, May 6, by 6PM CST.
6th Grade-8th Grade Contestants
Submit a 250-word (minimum) essay explaining how pets have affected your life.
Essays should be typed, double-spaced in 12-point font. Please include your
name, grade level, and phone number on your essay. Deadline for submission is
Tuesday, May 6, by 6PM CST.
9th Grade-12th Grade Contestants
Submit a 500-word (minimum) essay stating how pets have positively influenced
society. Essays should be typed, double-spaced in 12-point font. Please
include your name, grade level, and phone number on your essay. Deadline
for submission is Tuesday, May 6, by 6PM CST.
Submission is accepted via e-mail (avclab@sbcglobal.net), snail mail or drop off at clinic (6800 Burnet Rd. Ste. 1, Austin, TX 78757).
